Public Health Preparedness

In order to protect the citizens of Caswell County, the Public Health Preparedness program works to respond to public health threats and emergencies. It also provides appropriate training and education to key public health professionals as well as other healthcare providers in preparation for and response to infectious disease outbreaks, and other Public Health emergencies that may arise.

Health Promotion

The purpose of the Health Promotion program is to create environments where people can eat smart, be more physically active and breath easier, and to develop policies to support those environments. The Health Promotion Program partners with communities, churches, worksites, schools, and other organizations to accomplish this purpose.

Safe Kids Buckle Up

The Health Department, along with Caswell County EMS offers a car seat safety program to ensure that infant and child car seats are properly installed and used. A limited number of car seats are available free of charge for those who complete an educational program.
