Nurse Practitioner
Caswell County Public Health has an opening for a part time PRN Nurse Practiioner to work an average of 20 hours per week. This position provides direct patient care in the health department's clinic.
Salary: $45/hour
Licensed Practical Nurse I
Caswell County Public Health has an opening for a full time licensed practical nurse. This position provides direct patient care in the health department's clinic. Requires active LPN license.
Salary: $43,015 with a 4% increase after 9-month probationary period.

Employees who work at least 20 hours a week receive the following benefits. Benefits may be pro-rated for employees who work between 20 and 40 hours a week.
Leave:
Holidays 11-12 per year (based on state holidays)
Annual Leave 0-2 Years = 6.64 Hrs/Month (10 d/yr)
2-5 Years = 8.00 Hrs/Month (12 d/yr)
5-10 Years = 10.00 Hrs/Month (15 d/yr)
10-15 Years = 12.00 Hrs/Month (18 d/yr)
15-20 Years = 14.00 Hrs/Month (21 d/yr)
20 Year And Up = 16.00 Hrs/Month (24 d/yr)
Sick Leave All full time employees 8.00 Hrs/Month
Petty Leave All full time employees 22.00 Hrs/Year
Insurance:
Health Insurance: The employee’s health insurance premiums are covered by the county, except for $15/month (family coverage is extra). Health insurance coverage starts 30-60 days after hire depending on hire date.
Other Insurance: Various AFLAC, vision and dental policies paid for by employee are available.
Retirement:
State Retirement System: Approximately 6% of salary is deducted from salary and county adds about an additional 6% (vested after 5 years). The actual percentages paid by the employee and county is determined by the state retirement system each year.
401k Plan: Is available but the county does not provide any match
Longevity Bonus:
0-4 Years = 0% of current salary
5-9 Years = 1% of current salary
10-14 Years = 2% of current salary
15-19 Years = 3% of current salary
20 Years – Retirement = 4% of current salary
Mileage Reimbursement Rate:
IRS Rate (Reimbursed montly)

Biweekly
Hours Of Operation:
8:00-5:00 M-F with an hour for lunch (Some staff work alternate hours)
Probation:
9 mo for pay increase / 1 yr for "career status"
