The Health Department is governed by the Board of Health, which is comprised of residents of Caswell County who are appointed by the County Commissioners. The Board of Health has the authority to adopt rules necessary to protect and promote public health.
Board of Health Meetings are usually held at 6:30 pm at the Health Department on the 4th Tuesday of every month and are open to the public. For an agenda of the upcoming Board of Health Meeting call (336) 694-4129.
The law establishes that 11 members be appointed to the Board of Health. The current members are:
